Eligibility for Application
We hereby invite application from ISAR members having IVF centre registered with ICMR for financial aid to needy couples undergoing IVF/ICSI treatment.
Eligible couple selected by trustees will get financial aid of Rs. 50,000/-.
The decision of selecting the patient to receive the financial aid will be at the sole discretion of trustees of 'ISAR Dr. Sadhana Desai Endowment Fund'.
Couple should indemnify that the trustees of 'ISAR Dr Sadhana Desai Endowment fund' are not responsible for any act of commission or omission or any medico legal action resulting during the treatment given by IVF centre.
The financial aid will be given to those couples fulfilling following criteria.
(If husband is Azoospermic, he should have obstructive azoospermia. Husband with Non-obstructive azoospermia is not eligible.)
Couple undergoing IVF/ICSI for the first or second time and fulfilling above criteria are eligible to get aid.
However, couple seeking aid for 2 attempt should have history of obtaining minimum 4 Grade I / st Grade II embryos in 1 attempt.
Currently couple receiving 3rd party reproduction or surrogacy will not be considered eligible for financial aid. Committee will require feedback on the treatment and its outcome of the couple receiving financial aid after the treatment cycle is completed.
The assistance will be for only one IVF treatment of a couple.
The IVF Centre should be agreeable for inspection of the patient medical records and have protocols in place for maintenance and assessment of the records of the IVF procedure carried out.
The applicants should not be related to an ISAR member or IVF Centre in any way.
The application should be accompanied by a letter from the sponsoring ISAR member confirming the medical eligibility and genuineness of the applicants. It is the responsibility of the sponsoring ISAR member to verify the credentials of the applicants.
The treating doctor should be an ISAR member.
